Outclassed by Zhukov, General Paulos is reinforced by the old master himself, General Heinz Guderian. With him comes a hail of 105mm fire and the latest creation of Messerschmitt, the Me-262 jet fighter! Surely with these additions the Russian Front will belong to the Wehrmacht! Unrelenting, the Red Army settles into defensive positions in impassible terrain, and fires an unheard of barrage of artillery fire from 76, 85, and even 152mm cannons and flak guns. Guderian is met also with the powerful Su-85 Self Propelled Gun and the luftwaffe finds the LAG-7 more capable than expected! More Focke Wulfs and ME-410s scream overhead while the Waffen SS march on towards Moscow, and 31" rail-mounted monster-guns lay waste to entire cities...meanwhile massive destruction is wroght by the likes of chemical warfare and firestorms delivered from the air by such aircraft as the Soviet Tu-2. U-boats and Sch Class Subs square off in the seas while the Ukranian armor columns make their presence known. Finally, the United States shares its extensive wealth of air power with the arrival of thousands of P-39 Air Cobras for the red Air Force. Meanwhile, back in Germany, a certain highly ranked and trusted officer secretly runs the shadowy Red Orchestra spy ring, intent on turning the tide against the 3rd Reicht!

Panthers and Tigers crawl menacingly into the battlefield in increasing numbers while Focke Wulfs and Me-109s crowd the skies, and U-boats and Cruisers troll the seas for the Reicht. On the other side of the battlefield, the Soviets unveil the deadly KV-2 Tanks and Yak-3 Air Superiority Fighters. PE-2s and LAG-5s fly in support while still more 152mm guns provide cover for the advancing Red Hordes. Not all have the dedication required of a soldier, and some may flee, but all will sleep with one eye opened and an ear cocked to listen for the dreaded Air Raid Sirens!

Still more Panthers and the deadly Tiger IIs are dwarfed in speed and effectiveness by the polish built and German re-engineered Panzerzug Armored Trains! But the Red Army has a giant of their own to bring to the table with the tiger-like IS-2 Tank! IL-10s and Tu-2s thunder overhead, as do the Ju-88 and 188s while gunners on the ground attempt to target them with 88s and 85mm AA guns. A swarm of light tanks crawl out of Soviet factories onto the mine-crowded battlefields while both sides attempt to prop up their industry on the backs of imprisoned laborers! This could be the difference in this increasingly attrition oriented theatre of battle!
