The most important change is a die-cut control marker sheet. Furthermore, the Cards of Fate come now as a complete english deck as well. In order to meet the most common FAQ, the rules are slightly re-structured, re-worded and re-translated. Finally a few minor graphical things were corrected and polished.
It is the summer of 1756. On the eve of the Seven Years War, half of Europe has formed an alliance. Frederick the Great is in deep sorrow: Is the annihilation of Prussia planned? Is it Prussia's defeat or is it Prussia's glory?
Shortly after the Seven Years War broke out: Frederick led Prussia to victory after victory, yet still the situation grew more and more desperate. Finally, when it seemed Frederick was at last beaten, fate intervened with the death of the Russian Tsarina, and with her death came the collapse of the alliance against Frederick, saving Prussia from annihilation.
So in the game FRIEDRICH for 3 or 4 player:
All against one. But only one will reign supreme.
On a map of Old Europe, players manoeuvre their generals from city to city. Frederick must retain a part of each Prussian province, while the attacking powers savagely seek out their objectives. The clever use of tactical cards is decisive to winning.
