ATS Warfighting Guide #2

ATS Warfighting Guide #2 contains 52 pages of ADVANCED TOBRUK SYSTEM material aimed at making the ATSer a system expert. Included in the new issue is George Anderson's ATS Robot, a card-based system for playing ANY ATS scenario solo with a random generation of actions by the 'enemy'.

The ATS Robot includes a set of over 50 cards (provided on cardstock for you to trim out) for use with George's solo rules.

Also included in the issue are the first installment of Drew Dorman's 'ATS Set Ups', suggested set up data for all six D-Day Ranger scenarios. You can set up either side Drew's way, then use the ATS Robot to hammer it out. Alone. Just like you like it! What's more, Drew uses the D-Day Rangers NEW Edition scenarios, which also happen to be included in the issue as a FREE bonus!

The FREE bonus approach continues...with a strip of funky new ATS leader counters bundled with EACH copy of ATS WARFIGHTING GUIDE #2.

D-Day The Great Crusade 2nd Edition

D-DAY—The Great Crusade portrays the invasion of France by Allied forces during World War II. Suitable for solo and team play, the game covers Operation Overlord from June 6th and depicts the action in Normandy until July 6, 1944.

Turns represent one day each. A hex represents 1.5 km and unit size ranges from company to brigade, with most units depicted as battalions and regiments.

  • 480 color die-cut counters depicting the military formations that saw action in the Normandy Campaign;
  • Two large linking map sheets depicting the Normandy peninsula on heavyweight stock;
  • Two Play Aid Cards;

  • D-Day The Great Crusade Expansion

    This expansion game is for owners of D-Day: The Great Crusade. This is not a complete game; the original is required for use. Its purpose is to add a more detailed invasion sequence to the original game, and includes a detailed setup to reflect unit positions of the German defenders on the morning of 6 June, 1944. This replaces the 6 June sequence from the original game, and the 7 June turn is now treated as a normal turn.

    Contents:

  • 2 new June 6 scenarios printed on their own cards;
  • 120 die cut counters;
  • Landing Beach Cards to trim out for each beach, including Pointe du Hoc;
  • 4 page expansion rulebook with detailed landing example of play;

    Sacred Bonds is the third monthly instalment of 40 fixed cards for the A Clash of Arms expansion to the A Game of Thrones Collectible Card Game, based on George R.R. Martin's bestselling Song of Ice and Fire saga. It contains 20 different never-before-seen cards designed to augment existing decks and add variety to the A Game of Thrones metagame. This is not a standalone deck; a A Game of Thrones CCG starter set is required to play.

    Go Mental Board Game UK Edition

    GO mental® is a different type of game. Why? Because ALL of the players are involved ALL of the time. There's no sitting around waiting for your turn.

    That's because at the start of each game each player is dealt a bunch of Steal Cards. You use these to steal other player's questions. When it's someone else's turn and they get a question that you know the answer to, you just jump right in, slap down one of your Steal Cards and shout "Steal". You steal the question right away from them, and you get to answer it.

    Also, at the start of each game, each player is dealt a bunch of Challenge Cards. You use these if you get a question you don't know the answer to - or, maybe, you DO know the answer but you have a pretty shrewd idea another player DOESN'T. In that case, you slap down one of your Challenge Cards, and you challenge that player to answer the question instead of you. If he/she gets it wrong - they get sent BACKWARDS.

    The object of the game is to move your brain (playing piece) around the board from GO to MENTAL. You do that by answering GO mental® questions. The questions are very straightforward. Each question contains 4 things. One is the odd one out (doesn't fit). The other three are somehow connected. The connection is always positive. So, when you get a question, first you have to say which of the four is the odd one out. Get that right and you advance one space. Second, and if you got the first bit right, you say why the other three are connected. Get that bit right as well and you advance another three spaces.

    Tzaar Board Game

    TZAAR is a game about making choices. Both players have 30 pieces, divided in three types: 6 Tzaars, 9 Tzarras and 15 Totts. The 3 types of pieces form a trinity: They cannot exist without each other. The aim is either to make the opponent run out of one of the three types of pieces or to put him in a position in which he cannot capture anymore. The tricky question the players will have to ask themselves on each of their turns is: “Shall I make myself stronger or my opponent weaker?” Meaning: Will you capture an opponent’s piece and make him weaker, or will you jump on top of one of your own pieces and make yourself stronger? If you choose to jump on top of your own pieces too often, you will probably leave your opponent with too many pieces on the board. On the other hand, if you capture too often, you may end up with pieces that are not strong enough at the end of the game. What to do? Up to you to decide!
