Ungors are not as strong , tough or intelligent as the Gors. They are physically smaller and their horns are almost always less impressive. But what they lack in strength they make up in numbers, often used as living shields by their larger cousins, Ungor return the favour in close combat, stabbing around and over the more eager Gor. Particularly powerful Beastmen chiefs may be fortunate enough to own chariots. The chariots of the Beastmen are ramshackle, comprising of heavy, large pieces of lumber nailed and bound together with no thought of craftsmanship or finesse. This does not matter, however, because the strength and ferocity of the creatures used by the Beastmen to draw their chariots far outmatches that of mere horses. The Tuskgor, as they are known, are horrifyingly warped crosses between the wild boars of the Old World's forests and Beastmen themselves, twisted by the power of Chaos into massive creatures covered with brutal tusks and horns. In battle, Tuskgor chariots surge towards the enemy at breakneck speed, driving through the ranks of the foe with unstoppable force and scattering them as the Beastmen and Tuskgors strike out with hooves, horns and blades.

Centigors are a disgusting cross between four-leggged creature and the bipedal beasts of Chaos. They posess the hindquarters and forelegs of their quadroped ancestors, granting them great speed and strength, but the upper body of a humanoid, with which they wield brutal weapons. Chaos Marauder Horsemen are fast cavalry, ideal for harrying the flanks of the enemy with their throwing axes and spears, or supporting the elite Knights of Chaos as they thunder into the opposing battle line. A Lord of Nurgle is even more powerful than Nurgle’s Champions. Nurgling swarms are chattering, screeching and squabbling carpets of filth spewed from the rancid guts of Father Nurgle himself. Nurglings are surrounded by a buzzing cloud of flies that gets in eyes and blocks noses, distracting the enemy.

Many Ogres do choose to follow the Dark Gods of their own free will, for the promises of eternal battle are a sore temptation to them. The warbands of Chaos are ideal for the Ogres to indulge their appetites, and they are often seen accompanying the hordes of warriors and beasts that make up the armies of the Ruinous Powers.

Chariots are more than just a machine of war, they are a symbol of status and power. Quite often a champion will ride to battle upon a chariot festooned with icons and banners, proclaiming victories and allegiance.

Alive since before the Elves had learned the ways of written language, perhaps even before the arrival of the Old One, Shaggoths as these fell beasts are known, can reach titanic proportions, and on occasion, have been seen to tower above forest canopies and even castles. A Keeper of Secrets is a master of not only the winds of magic but of the minds of it's foes, as enemies close to the daemon will find their minds confused, and their limbs heavy and slow. Knights of Chaos are one of the most devastating cavalry units in Warhammer, combining resilient armour and awesome close combat power. Furthermore they can be upgraded to the deadly Chosen Knights of Chaos who are encased in Chaos armour as well as having extra Attacks. Knights of Chaos can be collected singly in blister packs.

The lord of Tzeentch is as formidable in close combat as he is in the black arts. At a basic cost of 5 points, Marauders of Chaos are the cheapest Mortal unit available, giving a Chaos general the option of fielding large expendable units. However, their low points cost doesn’t mean they are weak; at Weapon Skill 4 and Initiative 4 they are still superior to many of the Core troops in other Warhammer armies.
