When cameleers meet at the campfire after a long and straining journey, they tell each other stories about cities in the middle of the desert, from hidden oases, and flying carpets. A versed cameleer will of course not whistle-blow the exact location of these precious places, but if you can .read. the desert, you will find them anyway. And with the help of a powerful jinn, you may rearrange the location to your own benefit - or to the disadvantage of someone else.

Players move their caravans through the desert in search of these marvellous locations not telling the others what they discovered. But if you make use of such a location, you automatically reveal some information about it. For instance, if you trade in a desert city the other players will roughly know where the city is. Object of the game is to find three artifacts, or to buy them with the gold you earn.

The players travel as archaeologists around Europe in order to acquire the necessary knowledge for their excavation expeditions. With the aid of assistants, players get needed equipment and services for their expeditions. Once properly equipped, the players head off to Egypt, Crete, or Mesopotamia to dig at the sites there for valuable artifacts, which will bring them fame and enhance their reputations in the form of victory points. Players who can arrange exhibitions and visiting congresses will add to their reputations (victory points). But all this costs time and time is, of course, a limited resource. Who best uses his time for planning excavations and exhibitions, will score the most victory points and win the game.

Thunder on the Prairie!

In Bison every player is representing a native American Indian tribe. Aim is to settle in an area rich of bison, fish and turkeys. The tribe need bison as food and clothes (leather), they need fish for food and the turkeys and their feathers for rituals and adornment. The players catch bison, fish and turkeys and keep the score as markers on their own overview board. The animal markers are used to survive, to explore new land and to buy canoes and tents at the market. The player who has the most animals wins the game.

With that cry prospectors race westward and Boomtowns are established—the gold rush is on. In Boomtown, you must compete with your fellow prospectors in a mad scramble to find your fortune in gold, but watch out for highwaymen, card sharks and crooked politicians. There are many ways to make a buck in Boomtown.

Aim of the game: The players are prospectors, trying to find gold and get rich. Every turn, mining concessions are auctioned. Then gold is found on some concessions, depending on the die rolls. Players can also act as highwaymen, tavern owners, and politicians. Through many means are fortunes won. At the end of the game, the player with the most influence, the best mines and the most gold wins.

All hell is loose near the port. Many of the pirates are casting jealous glances at the riches in the large trading ships which lie at anchor. And so plans are being made to get the lucrative booty.

Caveman is a survival game where your objective is to become the dominant tribe on Volcano Island. It's a harsh world, where marauding dinosaurs cause chaos, other tribes attack you, and you struggle to keep your cave kids survive into adulthood. Each amulet was similar: the 9 outer parts were identical, but the middle part of each was different, making it possible to distinguish one from the other. The amulets brought their owners and their offspring respect and wealth.

When the Vikings conquered the land, they destroyed the amulets, scattering the parts of each throughout the land.

The south sea, AD 1777! Three years after James Cook visited the islands, the islands are embroiled in a contest for possession of legendary shrunken heads. The players’ only desire is to acquire these “head attractions” for shipment to museums in Europe. Although the islanders are very interested in trading their treasures with the European for the glass beads they offer, their traditions require that such exchanges be done during a special KAWA ritual.

Thus, the players must submit to this ritual by playing against each other with their beads for the prized shrunken heads. The winner will leave the island with the treasure. The losers may remain to provide further treasures.

Together, the players first build the map of the fjords, adding their houses in strategic locations as they build. When the map is complete, the players claim territory, trying to block their opponent from as much as possible, while securing these areas for themselves.

Garibaldi: La Trafila is a boardgame that makes you live the events accured in the august 1849, near Ravenna (Romagna, Italy), when Garibaldi, hunted by the Austrians for fifteen days, succeded to hide in valleys and in pine forests to reach salvation. A player is Garibaldi in hiding, the others are the Austrian patrols hunting him. Garibaldi wins if he succeeds in reaching the safe point and can run away, otherwise the Austrian patrols win if they catch Garibaldi.

In turns, using the cards, it's possible to move on the gameboard, a big-sized board that reproduces accurately a map of the territory at that time. The player who controls Garibaldi, with the help of a special screen, makes his moves secretly, while the other players have to work together to stop the moves of the escaper, trying to find him.

A party of 6 intrepid explorers have braved the jungle of Naunos in their search for the legendary Monkey Skull Temple. The Hunter, the Archaeologist, the Botanist, the Jungle King, the Mineral Hunter, and the Biologist. They have all contributed to the journey so far, but now the temple draws near, and only one of them will claim its glorious discovery. Yet the lands before the temple are covered with pits of treacherous quicksand and jungle, and the adventurers cannot traverse the dangerous distance without helping each other.

Two spice dealers are sharing a storehouse which a number of hungry rats are keen on as well.

So that they know where everything is, the two dealers want to store spices of the same type together. But they also have to keep the rats at bay.

Reef Encounter is about life on a coral reef! Using polyp tiles, players grow different types of corals, which they can protect from being attacked by other corals through judicious placing of their four shrimp counters. To be successful players must consume polyps from neighbouring corals in order to acquire the ‘consumed’ polyp tiles that are the key to the game. The consumed polyp tiles have a myriad of uses (and have a similar effect to the action points in games like Tikal and Java). Most importantly they can be used to flip over or lock the coral tiles, which determine the respective values of the different types of coral at the end of the game.

The players take on the roles of pirates.They move the captain along the alleys of the pirates nest, looking for treasure maps and treasure chests. Or they meet the city guard and deal with them if they can. Naturally, they will visit the few pubs to gather and drink some rum together. They will also have opportunities to acquire the special wares needed by pirates like wooden legs and eye patches. At the end of the day, they head back to the ship and wrangle for the few sleeping places available there. All these activities earn the players tiles, which are worth honor points - most positive, but some are negative. These honor points are tallied at game end.

The player who ends the game with the most honor points is the winner!

You are an Explorer making your way along darkened passages of a pyramid in search of treasures from ancient Egypt. However, no attention has been paid to the tales of Ammut, also known as the 'Eater of Hearts', or 'The Devourer'. Will you be able to make your discoveries before being caught by this creature - whose body was a dreaded combination of crocodile, and hippopotamus? - It needs skill, as well as a little luck to collect the treasures and exit the Pyramid alive!

The most notorious prisoners are kept isolated from the outside world on a heavily guarded island in the Atlantic Ocean, just off the coast of the United States. Those sentenced to life are kept in the most secure part of the prison: Section X. It is extremely difficult to escape from that part of the prison, but the prisoners have a plan. Will they succeed or are the strict guards too clever for them?

SECTION X is a game in which clever escapers dig tunnels themselves but also make use of tunnels belonging to other players and cut each other off. Special hiding places ensure that the prisoners are safe when the ruthless prison guards make their rounds. A rumour has spread that an escape is imminent, so it becomes more and more difficult to remain out of the hands of the guards. Doors lock the entrances to the different escape tunnels. Are you able to control the underground network of tunnels and lead the prisoners from your cell block to freedom first? But watch out! The prisoners risk their lives if the escape is discovered!
