The armies of the Imperial Guard are led by a Senior Officer, supported by his Command squad. Each Command HQ may be expanded by including advisors like Commissars and Priests. The open-topped design of the Basilisk allows the vehicle's Earthshaker Cannon to be elevated to a steep enough angle for it to fire indirectly at targets that the crew don't have a line of sight to. Their light armament and light armour means they have to stay clear of enemy concentrations but can quickly take out any enemy troops that are left alone. The box contains a single model with autocannon and multi-laser weapon options The set also comes with the extra armour vehicle upgrade.

Sniper rifles are perfect for taking out high toughness creatures that your lasgun armed troops would struggle with. Up to 3 models in a Special Weapon Support Squad may upgrade their lasgun to a sniper rifle. Certain Doctrines from the Codex also allow infantry models to replace their weapon with a sniper rifle. The blister contains 2 Imperial Guard models armed with sniper rifles.

A normal Imperial Guard platoon does not include any mechanised troops. Because of this it is common to attach an Armoured Fist squad to provide some fast-moving troops. Some Inquisitors make use of Chimera tanks and the Armageddon Steel Legion has all its squads equipped with Chimeras. This box contains a single Chimera tank.

The Kasrkin are the elite of the Cadian military. They are utterly dedicated to the preservation of Cadia. A Kasrkin squad consists of 1 Sergeant and between 4 and 9 Kasrkin. These models can also be used as Storm Troopers in an Imperial Guard army. The box set contains 10 Kasrkin troopers, including 1 Sergeant, 1 flamer and 1 Grenade launcher.

The Leman Russ Battle Tank is the most commonly found tank in Imperial Guard regiments. It is a simple design and one that has stood the test of time better than most. The tank is armed with a turret mounted battle cannonn and can be equipped with either anti tank or anti infantry secondary weapons. The box set contains a single Leman Russ tank with various weapon options.

The huge strength and incredible toughness of an Ogryn means that they have a natural aptitude for combat. A squad of Ogryns will smash its way trough the enemy often using their guns as clubs. This blister contains 1 random model.

The huge strength and durability of Ogryns makes them perfect soldiers for the Imperial Guard. They require almost no training, although can only make use of the simplest of weapons. A select few may even have a glimmer of initiative which makes them prime canditates for augmetic surgery to boost their brain-power to the point where they can become an Ogryn Sergeant or Bone 'ead.
